Frost Science Summer Camp 2020

Unleash the power of science through weeklong camps at Frost Science, including engineering, marine sciences, astronomy, and technology. Get your creativity flowing by becoming an inventor and constructing solutions to design challenges, get your hands wet as you explore the water cycle and unique marine creatures, and even dig into the science of dinosaurs and our universe for a truly unforgettable summer.

This year there are two types of offerings:in-person camp and virtual camp. There’s limited space available for in-person camps at Frost Science for grades Pre-K to 5, and virtual camp options for grades Pre-K to 8.

In-person Summer Camp

Weeklong camps designed for Pre-K – 5th graders (ages 4 – 11) exploring engineering, marine sciences, astronomy, technology, and more. Each week of camp will include free exploration time around the museum. Learn more here

Virtual Summer Camp

  • Virtual Pre-K – 5th Graders

Weekly topics will explore engineering, marine sciences, technology, and more, with hands-on activities, special experiences such as guided virtual museum tours, virtual meet the scientist sessions, virtual lab tours and educational videos throughout the week. Learn more here.

  • Virtual 6th – 8th Graders (Ages 11-14)

Weekly topics will explore engineering, marine sciences, technology, and more, with hands-on activities, special experiences such as guided virtual museum tours, virtual meet the scientist sessions, virtual lab tours and educational videos throughout the week. Additionally, campers will have the opportunity to develop and present a solution to a challenge related to the theme of the week. Learn more here.
