Apple Sauce in 3 Steps

This easy, delicious apple sauce recipe can be ready in less than 30 minutes from start to finish just in time for dinner or for snacking throughout the week. 

You will need the following ingredients:

4 apples 

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon lemon juice

¾ cup of water   

1 teaspoon sugar (optional)

Here’s how to make your apple sauce

1. Peel and cut the apples in half-inch pieces. 

2. Add the apples, water, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil at medium heat for about 15 minutes until apples are soft.

3. Remove from the stovetop, (add optional sugar before blending) then blend the mixture to your desired consistency. 

Once made, you can either eat your apple sauce warm or store in the refrigerator for later. Either way is delicious!
