Great Play is coming soon to Doral! Great Play is the first interactive gym for kids 6 months to 10 years in Florida.
Their classes are not what you may have come to expect from the children's gym market. Except for the fact that kids learn a great deal, it probably shouldn't even call them "classes" – they're really high-energy, interactive events.
Many motor skills are best learned through extensive repetition of proper form (i.e., "practice, practice, practice!"). But drills can get boring – kids don’t want to practice, they want to play! Great Play turns practice into play, using technology and unique games. Their goal is that children learn, without ever knowing they were practicing. The Great Play environment is an engaging, non-competitive, clean and safe space for kids to have fun, explore existing abilities and develop new ones.
Great Play re-imagined every aspect of how youth physical development could work. They developed updated curriculum based on research from leading authorities in the field and created unique programs for each stage of development. They packaged it with a teaching system that makes it fun and maximizes children's success. And they housed it all in a brand new, patented Interactive Arena™ designed to engage, entertain and stimulate children of all ages. Half a dozen computers control eight projectors, a directional sound system, and over a dozen sensing systems to bring the sparkling clean 3000 sq. ft. space to life. They call it the Interactive Arena. The kids call it "very cool!" and "a lot of fun!"
